Hello!
We recently purchased a Chevy Equinox 2017. After installing our carseats, I noticed that we won't be able to adjust my son's headrest/harness any further up, because the car's headrests are fixed (can't be adjusted or removed). My son is 5 years old, 43 in tall, 32 lbs, in a Recaro Performance Sport seat installed behind the driver's seat. My daughter is in a rear-facing Graco 4ever installed behind the passenger seat. There's not enough space to install the Recaro in the middle seat next to the Graco.
My son rides in a Britax Boulevard in our other car, but this seat is even bulkier than the Recaro, so I doubt it will make any difference.
Suggestions? Should I get a new seat? If so, what would be a good option for this car with fixed headrests?
Thanks!
