Our current youngest is three, and I need to decide if it is reasonable to turn her forward facing.
She is three and two months. She's 37-38 lbs. depending on what she is wearing. She's always been over the 95th percentile in both height and weight. It is getting very tricky to buckle her rear facing now. We're switching vehicles/seating around.
She uses a Britax Roundabout50 in one vehicle, and she's right at the RF limits for height (as measured perpendicular to the back of the seat) I haven't tried her ff in that yet, but she probably won't last long ff either. Her main seat is a Britax Boulevard CT. No problems with height in that, of course, but it is a real struggle to buckle her. It is the squashed legs that are tricky. She doesn't mind being folded up, of course, but dealing with all that leg and getting the straps where they need to be is hard for me, and even harder for my husband.
How big an issue is it to just turn her forward facing at this stage?
Thanks!
