Booster Options, is incognito the only one?

Ds1 is 8.5yrs 58" 105lbs, yes that's accurate, he was at drs this week. He meets the minimum to go without a booster, but I don't feel comfortable going without. He's very close to five-stepping and does sometimes, depending on vehicle and seat he seats in, which varies. Is the incognito the only one that has 60" limit? Ok to ignore height limit? My problem with the incognito is he doesn't put the belt through the loops. Would like something narrow and easy to buckle. He has coordination problems, adhd, spd. He's very solid and evenly distributed. thanks!

I would absolutely ignore a height limit if needed. I'm not actually even up on what they are on most backless boosters.

The Incognito is hard for us because it's an extra step and like you said, it does not always get done and if I am not in the car to make sure...who knows what DH would do! :)

My 10YO was using the Incognito for some time. He is now I think 63" and fits fine without. Anyway, most other backless had a terrible fit. They were too high, as he got taller.
But with 58" you might be fine still with some lower ones. My current 9 YO uses a Harmony Youth and we like it a lot. She is a lot shorter than my son was, so she will remain in it for some time. Only 62 lbs. though. I think she is 53".

Us too. By 58", it's been hard to find another option that stays on their shoulder.

OP, how long have you tried training him to put it into the loops? My spacey DD needed reminders for a while and I thought it was going to be a huge problem, but once she got it, she really got it. HTH
