Britax Roundabout G4 on Airplane?

We are considering buying two britax roundabouts to travel for our two year old and four year old. We would forward face on plane. Does any one know if these are the types of seats where the airplane buckle would land right at child's back? Or does the buckle go in a closed area where it will not be felt by child.
And if I am flying Virgin America which has three seats together then a row, would I be able to fit between two roundabouts one on each side? I am very thin but want to make sure it's possible. Thanks

Generally they require the seats side by side, though that's not set in stone, and it's unlikely these would fit. They are a heavy, wide seat, and they do have an open belt path- you would end up with the buckle behind the child's back (which does happen on planes, and you can add a folded cloth if needed behind the child since planes are a special situation.) But generally, they would not be a great choice for plane travel (and wouldn't allow use of the tray either, and they are high enough in profile that legs might be cramped.) In addition, 4 year old would need to be checked to make sure it wasn't outgrown. If you don't already own them I would certainly advise picking something else. Where are you traveling? Why are you considering this seat specifically?

Ok thank you. I have new options. Either 2 combi coccoros or two fllos. I am going to make a new post asking about these options. Thanks.

There's no need to start a new post if you don't want. :)

The Fllo should fit but is heavy. The Coccoro will fit but is short enough your 4 year old may not fit.
