I'm having the same problem with the back seat head rests in my New 2016 Chevy Equinox(which I purchased in Feb).
I can't remove them either and I have a 4 yr old granddaughter and I have to put her seat in the middle of the back seat and it IS a Problem. I can't properly see out the back window and with the small pin hole (which is terrible) it does not work and now I have a grandson and now I can do anything with him either..
This seems to be a big problem with Chevy. Now older models can do this but now a brand new car? this is awful.
The pin hole is very small and I tried for 1 hr to remove this and you can't! So now what am I supposed to do with my grandchildren in my car?? and when another person has to sit in the back, it's very tight and this is not good..
I hope Chevy can do something about this.. I'm very disappointed..
I would love to hear any suggestions if there are any on this matter..
Thank You
Barbara
