Ow ow ow. Got the cover back on. Helpful tip: use some sort of tool to get the elastic loops through the tiny holes at the top of the headrest. My first thought was crochet hook, but the large safety pin in my junk drawer was more easily accessible, and did the job nicely. (That's not what hurt me; I managed to bend a fingernail backwards doing...I forget what.)

Anyway. Aside from the cover, I think I'm really going to like it. It also has the seal of approval from the 2 year old who declared he was "ready to go!" while buckled into it in the dining room. Can't wait to actually get it in a vehicle!

I'm strongly considering this seat. I want to have something easy to adjust while installed for my 2 grandkids that will be about 9 months apart. Let me know if you like it or not.
Griffin can probably rear face in this awhile yet too, but since he's in daycare now I don't have him often. He is 3.5. Is that a reasonable assumption I wonder? Lol.

I'm liking it. Nedra's comparison blog post is pretty spot on:

http://carseatblog.com/39759/guest-blog-graco-extend2fit-3-in-1-and-milestone-all-in-1-comparison/

Things I don't like: difficulty of removing (and to a lesser extent, replacing) the cover; getting the seat belt through the narrow RF belt path.

Everything else, I'm really happy with. Kiddo loves it, fits fabulously in a tiny front to back space, and other than getting the belt through the belt path, actually installing it was a breeze. (It's in the 3rd row of my Mazda 5, so no lower anchors.)

Tip for getting the belt through the belt path: stick a finger through the cover where the crotch buckle comes through while shoving the buckle into the belt path. Hook the buckle tongue with your finger, and pull it through the path as far as you can. Then you can stick some fingers in from the other side (the end of the belt path) and grab it there to pull more.

Assuming Griffin isn't GIGANTIC he should have plenty of RF growing room in it. My long-waisted 60+ pound 7 year old still has growing room by head to butt measurements to RF (although it's clearly outgrown by weight!)

My BFF has been using them for her twins for almost a year and I think they're awesome. I install with latch, which is a breeze with the push on connectors. The foot tray does have to be extended to at least the first position for children RF over 40 pounds.
