I need to do a couple seat switches, and I have two options. First, just buy a new Frontier which will solve both kids' issues right now AND help with a very likely issue in the near future (namely, big van without headrests). Second option costs $0 but steps two kids down in safety. Problem is...they're kind of old enough anyway, but I'm nervous.
DS 8.5 is in Recaro ProSport as HBB which is expiring mid January.
DD6.5 is in harnessed FR85 but nearly even with top slots.
All I have to do is grab the Harmony backless out of DH's car and put DS in it and put DD's FR in booster mode, but like I said I'm just nervous. They will both sit and fit fine. DS would be in the 3rd row of my 1998 suburban. The wheel well is between the child and the window, which gives an extra few inches of space between his head and the glass, but there are no air bags.
There are more giant children coming up after these two to pass down seats to.
