My husband and I are having an extremely difficult time installing the base with the rigid anchors. Without the plastic guides we can only get one side to latch but not both. With the guides installed neither side will latch. Any advice??

I find holding the Pipa's anchors (and therefore the whole base, usually) at a 45 degree angle helps to get it attached to the lower anchors.

Conversely, have you tried the seatbelt? That's also an easy install.

My husband and I and a firefighter were having this exact problem today with a Nuna Pipa and a 2014 Nissan. Did you ever figure it out?
