We are trying to fit 3 across in our 2013 CRV and have run into some difficulty. We currently have 2 Clek Foonfs and a Peg Perrego SIP 30/30 infant seat and have been unable to find a configuration that works. We are willing to replace the infant seat if need be as it is older and closest to expiry but are not sure which would be our best option.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! Can you give more details about the older 2? Age, height, weight, Rear or forward facing. What is your budget for a new seat? Do you want an infant seat with base or a convertible for the newborn?

Oldest: 3, 30lbs, 37 inches, FF
Middle: 18 months, 30 lbs, 34 inches, RF
Youngest: 5 days old, 7 lbs

We prefer an infant seat for the newborn and have no budget (willing to pay for whatever will work).

Sorry for my late reply. How are the Foonf installed right now?

I would try the FF Foonf in the middle and the RF on either side. For the infant seat, the Chicco Key Fit is quite narrow. Some of the new Graco Snugride also have a narrow base.

Can you go to BabiesRus or a local baby boutique and try some seats?

We have 2 Clek Fllos and a Chicco Keyfit in our 2013 Honda CRV. I believe the width is the same on the Foonf and Fllo seats so a Keyfit would likely work for you too! The trick is to use the seat belts rather than UAS to secure all 3 seats. I have a picture of our configuration but I'm not seeing an option to post it through my phone at the moment.
