Scenara Next Questions

I'm at Walmart right now and thought I might pick up a Next for Nolan since DD1 is using my Fllo riding for Griffin.

I'm embarrassed to admit to the issue I had using the City Go without the base.

Anyway. The Prius seats are fairly sloped. I've needed pool noodles for about every seat I've used rfing. Not the Fllo but that could be because Griffin was older when I got it.

Will I need a pool noodle? And does anyone think I'll be able to get a decent install on those darn leather seats?

It can go upright for older babies. For newborns it is usually fairly simple to place at the correct angle... I just haven't tried in a Prius. It'd probably fit better outboard than center.

I picked up the Next but haven't had a chance to do anything with it. Yeah nothing works center. Well I did get the Fllo in there rearfacing once. I'll be trying it outboard.

The Next went in fine using latch so that was great. Bad news is the passenger seat still can't be all the way back which was what I was kind of hoping for besides an easy install.

Another question. Is the Next one of those that has a longer crotch strap available?

The really bad news? I hurt DH's car while installing. I kind of hit my door with his. Yikes. I hope he doesn't notice.

There is a longer crotch strap available but it's not a whole lot longer. I heard that they started selling them already with the longer strap though, so you might already have it.

Thanks. I thought it looked a little short but but for now it shouldn't be an issue. When using it for a little bitty are side rolls usually needed? I ask because it seems a lot wider inside than his infant seat.

What's the DOM? It's been like a year since they started selling it with the longer crotch strap.

I'll check that tomorrow. I have it installed and don't have time today to undo it. I got it in store at Walmart. You would think they have a pretty good stock turn over.
