Hello,
I have my 7 year old in a high back booster in the third row of our truck. It's a new truck but for some reason it does not have latches in the third row. The car seat has latch connectors but no tether. I know he should be bucking the seat every time he gets out. However there is certainly a chance that he or I or my husband forgets, making this a dangerous situation in an accident. Is it safe for me to attach a tether to the booster for the purpose of securing it when he's not in it? I would just leave the tether connected at all times (not tight).
Thanks for your help!
