FF seat to puzzle with Primo Viaggio

There are a couple of issues in the situation I'm faced with tonight. I'm just going to lay it out and you tell me what you would do.

- Child is 35lbs, 39", and just about to be 4 years old. Mom is shopping for a FF seat.

-Vehicle is a 2000 RAV4 (no LATCH; overlapping seat belt behind driver). Will sometimes be moved to a 2002 Dodge Ram.

- 5 week old baby is in a Primo Viaggio that must go next to the new seat.

- price is flexible. Willing to pay for a seat they will get lots of use out of.

What thoughts so you have? Thanks!

So the baby's seat will be in the center? And the 4 YO outboard behind passenger?

She is open to whatever arrangement works. I'm trying to help her over the phone/messaging. I'm not familiar with the RAV4 doing installs.

A 2000 RAV 4 should have a lap only belt center that doesn't overlap.

It is a narrow and difficult spot but I've put Radians rf there. However if she doesn't need to use all 3 spots both seats outboard would be easiest. A Frontier would be a super easy install but really lots of things would work if they DON'T need to use the center. If they do it changes the needs a lot.

I don't have a LATCH Manual right now but make sure she knows about Toyota's retrofit program if applicable.
