Nautilus or Pioneer?

Griff's dad had an accident. Which should I get? Both are at Target which would be convenient. I'm torn because the Nautilus is so easy to install. At least it was when I had one which was awhile ago. Does it have the same short shallow crotch strap and is head slump still a problem?

What about the Evenflo? Any reason to look at that? I'm going to have to give DD my Fllo until this is sorted out! I hope it survives!

I don't think they've changed anything with the headrest. The newer ones just have the no-rethread harness. I didn't notice the crotch strap being short and shallow ever but my kids aren't that big.

What about the Graco Tranzitions? Does Target have that? The headrest is flusher to the seat back than the Nauti, has a no-rethread harness, is light weight, easy to install, 2 cupholders and CHEAP in the USA!

I've never used a Pioneer but I have 2 Frontiers and I love them. But some of the reasons I love them are the ClickTight install and the EZ-buckle, neither of which the Pioneer has. I will say the Tranzitions harness is WAY smoother to tighten than the Britax seats.

I didn't consider it. I couldn't get a decent install in my own car with it so it wasn't on my radar. Target has a Pioneer on sale for $174ish so that's why I thought of it. The Nauti is $149. I'm hoping insurance is going to pay. The seat being replaced is a Size 4 Me but he's ffing. Ha! Autocorrect doesn't underline that in red anymore! I wonder why the Nauti doesn't has premium latch connectors. I think kids sitting on the buckle was a common complaint.

I have 2 pioneers and I kind of hate them. They're solid seats but are missing everything that makes the Frontier awesome.
