Seriously. Who comes up with this stuff?
"Let's make 13 different infant seats. Who wants to name them all?"
"Me! I have a great idea for a name for an infant seat. I'm sure I can come up with 12 more, no problem."
"Great! Ok, moving on. We have a line of convertible seats coming out, with a few different feature levels. Anyone want to come up with a name for the line?"
"Ooh, me! I have a TON of ideas. I love to squash words together and replace words with homophonic numbers. I'm sure I can come up with the perfect name."
They have different names so they don't have to price match. I'm guessing they agree to pay a bit extra per seat to Graco in return for exclusive branding so the customer can't demand a discount.

What I have noticed is that once you take all the packaging and tags off a seat, usually the only identifying info on it is the main brand name. So I ask a friend what seat they have and all they can say is "Graco". I think they should put the cutezy name on it too! At least people should write it on the shell with a marker while they still remember!
