3 across in a Honda CRV - what worked for us

After some great advice on these forums, I was able to find a 3-across configuration that works well in our 2013 Honda CRV. I needed a RF seat for a toddler, a FF seat for s small 6-year-old and a bucket seat for a newborn. I ended up purchasing 2 Clek Fllos and a Chicco Keyfit 30. Once the baby outgrows the bucket seat, we'll be transitioning her to one of the Fllos and purchasing a Clek booster for our big guy. :) Hope this can help out someone in a similar situation.

I had incorrectly assumed that the Oobr would also be narrow. I though that was Clek's "thing". Any recommendations on a comfy and narrow hbb?

The Britax Parkway usually comes up. I have found the Maxi-Cosi Rodifix, while of average width overall, much easier to buckle because of the lack of armrests.

Really though, the best option for a tight three across is often a harness as long as possible, to avoid the buckling difficulties. You might consider a super-narrow combination seat like a Graco Tranzitions or Harmony Defender instead. :)

I just reread the limits on the Fllo and I may just keep him in that seat for a while longer. He'll be 7 in Decembet but only 43" tall and 40.5 lbs. He has a good amount of room yet. :)
