Three across in a 2007 Honda Fit?

We have two kids (2 and 4), and are considering a third next year. It's not crucial that we can get a three across in the fit, but it would be nice.

It's a pretty narrow seat, does anyone have experience who managed to get three seats in it? Some combination of clek or diono maybe?

Obviously they'll grow, but big guy is currently FFing at 42" tall and 36 lbs. Little guy is RFing and 36" tall and 28 lbs.

Not sure on the vehicle but what seats do you have to work with already? Let's start there. And for the baby - do you prefer a rear-facing only seat, or straight to convertible?

I would prefer to start with a convertible. We have two surerides, a myride, an older scenera (with the low RFing height limit) and a complete air that expires next year.

Is the Coccoro available in Canada at this point? We have friends with a Fit who do FF Radian/RF Coccoro/FF Radian and have found that works well. If no Coccoros, maybe try something comparably narrow in that space (another Radian? Maybe the Scenera, since I think it's similar?)

It is not. But I wonder if the Scenera NEXT could take its place in that scenario.

Are you near any stores that would let you test things out? You'd also want to plan ahead to know what might work once the littlest goes FF, and consider how long you'll get with the oldest in harness before outgrowing it and needing to booster. Things get much harder once you have to add a booster to the mix.

I would try a Scenera NEXT with two Radians. If Canada has, or will get, the Graco Tranzitions that could also work well instead of the Radians.
