NEXT or RA50 Classic?

Hi, All.

DH's grandfather passed away, and I need to fly alone with our 3 kids for the memorial service. DS1, almost 9, has a booster at our destination and is all set. DD, almost 3, recently turned forward facing and has an older model Scenera that she can use on the plane and at destination. DS2, 9 months, has his own ticket but is my issue. We JUST donated his bucket seat, and I do have a Classic Roundabout I could use. The bonus is that it fits great on our B-Nimble stroller and the old Scenera nests right inside, so that would get them through the airport with minimal trouble while I wear baby in an Ergo. (DS1 will push DD in our BJCM.) However, it's going to be a pain to try and carry the RA50 onto the plane while wearing DS2. I'm sure I could find somebody to help, but with the NEXT we'd be pretty independent if need be. It's also a wee bit narrower, and we may be borrowing a smallish vehicle at our destination. So, does anybody know if the NEXT will nest into the original Scenera? I think using the stroller as a car seat carrier will be easiest since I don't even need bungees like I would with the luggage cart, at least with the RA50. (Nobody will be riding in them on the stroller.) If the 2 different Sceneras nest then I also won't have to be messing with bungee cords at security and the gate, plus I'll have a lighter seat.

Sorry. Just stressing about all of this. We have a direct flight and DH will be with us on the way back, but I just want at least this portion of the trip to be as easy as possible.

TIA!

I'm not sure if they would nest- but could you get a bungee strap and flip them over to puzzle together, then tie?
