Canada Toyota Tacoma Access Cab 2014

I am finding conflicting info on whether a Toyota Tacoma Access Cab can safely accommodate a car seat in the Access Cab rear. Child is 5 yrs old 38 pounds.

Toyota permits it, and provides top tether anchors. Check your manual, as the routing isn't straight forward. Being under 40 pounds, you're looking at a harnessed seat for now.

Is this a vehicle you're looking to purchase? If so I would try your current car seat in it and see how it works. Some seats allow up to 20% overhang off the front of the vehicle seat, while some allow none, so you'll need to look for that.
