Question Narrow booster for 3 across in Chevy Equinox?

I've got a mom with twins on the way and a 7 year old. She has a 2012 Equinox and the twins will be in Snugride30s and the big kid has been in a Harmony backless booster. The booster will not fit between the snugrides, so she needs a new booster.

Any suggestions for a tiny booster to fit in this arrangement? Bubble bum? I rarely do booster checks (they just aren't as common here as infant and convertible) and my son just went into a booster, so it's the area I know the least about, seat variety speaking.

The first thing I would try is making sure that the Snugrides are installed with seat belts rather than lower anchors. The Harmony might work then. (They should do seat belt installs regardless of which booster they end up with.)

If the 7 year old is over 60 pounds, a Safety 1st Incognito would be worth a shot. If that doesn't work, a Bubblebum is probably the way to go.

The snugrides are installed with seatbelts, still not enough room for the arm rest part of the booster to sit flat on the seat. (I also learned that in the Equinox, you cannot use LATCH in both outer positions and still use the middle seat. No one may occupy the middle seat if LATCH is used in outer seats.)

I believe she said her daughter was around 55 lbs but I'll have her weigh her and check out the Incognito. Thanks!

I just bought my dsd 8 years and 60lbs a bubblebum. It is great. The newer version has easier lap belt clips. I tested it out between 2 highback harmony dreamtime boosters in 3 across in the 3rd row of my mini van and it works. I like it because it has a chest clip too. I vote bubblebum. Dsd likes it too.
