Question Tall, cheap (Canadian) FF harness?

So I've discovered DS2 has outgrown the Radian and an old TF we have at my parents. What other options do I have for a 40lb 4yo of unknown height (but is slightly below the 2nd to top slot on a SureRide?) I would consider a straight booster too, but I'm not sure he's quite there yet.

Yeah, I was kinda thinking that's pretty much what I'm left with, lol. Is the Defender narrower than the SureRide? Is there any benefit to it over the SR?
