Don't get me wrong, I love practicing extended rear facing. My kids are safe and happy and have less of a tendency to drop things, but my five year old wants to turn back around and I'm not sure what to do. I'm thinking a Diono, but I want something that will last a while forward facing as well. Quite honestly he will be harnessed for several more years if he continues to mature mentally at the rate he is. But what seats would you recommend? I would love to turn him back around, but I'm just not sure what seat would be a good bet. DS3 is 43 lbs, 46"(mainly legs) with approximately a 16" torso. He LOVES the color pink and anything girly so if you know of a long lasting convertible seat that comes in pink we will be sold! Otherwise just a long lasting harnessed seat and he can wear some princess apparel while riding in it. Lol!
