I'm looking forward (1-1.5 years) to next step car seat-wise.
DD1 is around 44" and 40#, turned 4 last month. RF in E2F in 2016 Honda Pilot and 2013? Subaru Outback.
DD2 is 2.5 YO, approximately 38" 35#, RF in CT Boulevards.
I'd assumed I would buy Frontiers when DD outgrew her convertibles, but then the E2F came out. Now it seems it may last her (both girls at top/over height and 75-85% weight on growth curves) until 5.5 RF, and I'm wondering if it would be as good/better to booster train her when she is near the seat limits.
Would this be a reasonable plan: 1) keep DD1 RF in E2Fs until DD2 is 40# 2) at that point put DD2 RF in E2F and DD1 in CT Boulevards with booster training for short trips until she is reliable?
I also have Peg and Nextfit convertibles (1 each). I'm not opposed to buying the Frontiers, but don't want to do it if it is no better/safer. I've also read about neck load issues, and both girls have off the chart large head sizes, so there's that...in theory, I understand.
I'll ask separately about E2F real-life limits so it is in the archive.
