How does an adult feel in a hot car?

The problem I have with this is that we all KNOW how much it sucks to be in a hot car and we know how deadly it can become. People don't purposely leave their kids in hot cars. In their mind, the child is somewhere else, somewhere safe. The brain has a glitch. And no matter how much we promote how hot cars get, it's not going to help rewire the brain.

However, maybe it will be the thing in the back of someone's mind if they see a child and they do something about it. I pray that if my brain fails me and my child that someone notices and breaks that car open!

Where/ how do I add a trigger?

When my kids saw this, they had tons of questions, so we had a discussion about it. I actually found the video to be much easier to see than others on this topic. And a good way to talk about the topic. There is one going around on Whatsaap, how they show a baby in a car, and the mother in the store. That one was scary, and my 10 year old saw it before I deleted it, and it took a long time for him to understand that the "dead" baby in that video, was really sleeping.

My DH gets to his car from work which has been out all day in the sun. Must be 10000000 degrees. He likes it and says he sometimes sits there in the warmth for a bit.
No thanks! Of course this is the guy who blasts heat in the winter in the car and it's too dry for me to stand it! But when he goes to/from work it's his choice for temp.

I think his small Civic gets very hot but our van is tinted so it's better. But it takes so long to load our van with 6 kids that I constantly am fretting about going faster with the process so nobody passes out!
