So I have a Britax Boulevard CT sitting in its box in my porch. I think I need to send it back.
I spoke with another tech who I do not know but my instructor recommended me talking with about my tricky 3-across. She seems like she really knew her stuff.
She says that the crotch strap is uncomfortable for older kids so she called Britax and asked about a longer one. They said they were working on one. A while later she talked to Britax again and they said they were not going to release the longer strap after all because the seat was not passing crash testing with a longer strap.
So my thinking is, if the length of the crotch strap is the only thing that makes this seat pass the crash testing, how safe is it???
