Harmony Dreamtime

How long did you use this seat?

My 5 and 8-year-old are each using it.
The 5 YO is one click from the highest setting and it's fine for him. 48"
The 8 YO on the highest click looks like a good fit. 52.75" but under 60 lbs.

But I read a review where it says it's outgrown quickly. Hmmm...

I am just thinking of the 8 YO's next seat. Probably a backless so likely a Harmony Youth (we have 2 of these) or the new one out by Harmony if it fits. It has to be super narrow as we're 3 in a row back on an Odyssey. Harmony has been all that has fit over all other seats.

Though almost 10 YO might be out of his Incognito soon...which would free up some wiggle room.

I'm so glad you posted this! I am about to go purchase one of these but I hated for my son to outgrow it really quickly.

Is it the original or the V2? The V2 is taller.
But I think the only picture I ever saw was the CSTFL review and what must have been a long-torso 7 yo was too tall.
What kind of measurement do you get to top shoulderbelt position? 19"-ish heights can last kids to 7-8.

Yes, thank you.
I think I saw one review where the child outgrew it quickly. We have the newest version. It certainly fits well and she'll be 9 in November and is average to slightly tall, and skinny.

And I guess if it gets her to 9 then that's all I can ask, and we can always do a Harmony Youth later. If she ever hits 60 lbs. Incognito, but I don't like the extra step of having to clip the other side. Just not as easy as the regular boosters.

The dreamtime makes a decent backless booster as well.

My 10 yo rides in an Incognito and doesn't find it cumbersome at all.

I also seem to recall really wrestling with the Dreamtime putting it together! I avoid converting seats though.:) Just easier to get the next kind and still have a harness or whatever on hand, rather than taking anything apart.
