count as injury in crash? Britax replace?

I was a tech, I feel I should know this, but I'm waffling on it. Minor crash, I think. Front bumper and bumper foam needs replacing along with a headlight bracket, windshield washer fluid reservoir. The only confusing thing is something seems to be up with my distance to empty monitor feature-it said 340 miles to empty before the crash, all of a sudden after the crash it said 375. :scratcheshead: Guy hit us going between 10-15mph, I think. I had slowed to probably 5ish as I had hit the brakes and was trying to swerve out of the way.

The driver wasn't paying a lick of attention, didn't do a full stop (tapped brakes and ran) at the stop sign, he was opposite us. I was turning left. He had no signal on so I assumed he'd be going straight. I had stopped at my stop sign, waited for a vehicle to proceed through and then I went, I was out past the middle ofthe intersection when he entered the intersection, didn't slow, and hit me. It was a decent jolt. 3 kids in seats: Graco TB, Britax Marathon G4.1, GoodBaby Asana :)( I just won this 2 weeks ago!) I would say no injury but...my wrists are extremely sore. The backstory there is I have carpal tunnel, have for several years. They do fine most days unless I've picked up heavy stuff or typed a lot for work. But I was holding onto the steering wheel at impact and I guess they got pushed on and are sore. My back also hurts a bit. So...is that classified as injury?

The GoodBaby says replace no matter what, so that one isn't in question. Man but the Britax policy I think almost causes more harm than good...lol

Thank you! What you said makes sense. I was feeling bad because they were already 'injured' so to speak, even though they haven't been bugging me because I haven't been working in a few months. As the evening wears on, though, my back is hurting more, unfortunately. Not enough to have me going to the doctor, but sore.

I've never had to have insurance replace seats before. I'm praying they realize this is the other guy's fault because we in no way have money to cover our deductible, DH has been off work injured for 6 weeks, and will be out another 1-2 weeks. I wonder how it'll work if I'll shop and send them a receipt or what. Luckily I do have spare seats.
