most comfortable booster seat

Are any booster seats considered "more comfortable" than others?
My daughter (8 1/2years) finds her booster seat really uncomfortable in terms of padding under her bum.
Bother her, and her 6.5 year old brother, need new seats for our traveling vehicle (ie longer drives)
Any recommendations?

Oh booster will likely have to be backless... I need for the two boosters to fit in a three across with a Britax Frontier.

I guess that info would help.
She really disliked the turbo booster. She finds the Harmony slightly better but still finds it uncomfortable. (she never complained about the Sunshine kids Radian before that or the Frontier (but I needed that seat for my youngest)

Budget, well, I'd like to keep the costs reasonable but I'm assuming extra padding is something that comes with a price tag so no, I don't really have a budget.

The seats will go in the middle row of a 2006 Nissan Armada. I have a Frontier in there right now for my youngest. So I'm looking for boosters to fit in the middle and behind the driver. Both spots have headrests that seem to go fairly high, if that makes a difference.

Both the turbo and harmony are just a cover over hard plastic. Anything that has a little more padding should be more comfortable.

Off the top of my head, seats that should be more comfortable-

Chicco kidfit, britax parkway, diono Monterey and the new one by them, Recaro performance booster, and I'm sure there are others that I can't think of. Even a more padded version of the turbo might be better, though I don't know if they still make the gracopedic ones I'm thinking of.

Funny thing is, those are the two seats SHE chose. They are both currently in our city car, so the kids are never in them for a long period of time.

The Parkway and Monterey are two that I've been considering, I just have not been able to find the parkway in store anywhere and I have not had a chance to get to the one store that I know has the Monterey. I'm also wondering about the Clek seats (but I'm not sure they will work since the middle seat in our Armada does not have lower anchors)

Chicco kidfit is not one I've looked at. I"ll have to look for it next time I am at the store.

Thank you

Target (at least my local one) carries both the kidfit and the parkway.

The Clek seat is really nice but I wouldn't spend $300 for a seat that a lot of kids find too short in the seat. The seat itself is firm but comfy. We have one for my dad's truck, which needed a latch booster that allowed overhand because his truck has tiny seats and no headrest. My kids find it comfy but I can tell that for most kids, and for long periods of time, it might not be too comfy due to the seat depth.

Is the Kidfit available in Canada? We don't have Target here anymore, unfortunately.

I'm sorry. I missed that this was the Canadian forum. No, I don't think the kidfit is available in Canada yet. The other seats I listed should be available though.

Babies R Us may have the Parkway in store. It's quite squishy in the bum area. My 8 year old loves her Monterey but it does require a head restraint. As for fitting in those spaces I really don't know, unfortunately.

The Babies R Us near us did not have the Parkway in store. I have not called the two other locations in the city to see if they do. There is one store downtown that does have it, but they have short business hours during the week and we have not had a chance to get out there on the weekend.

That is good to know that the Parkway may fit better in a three across than the Monterey. The Monterey needing a head restraint should not be an issue in our vehicles but something I will take into consideration.

DD found her turbo booster and harmony youth booster uncomfortable as she was getting a bit older. She found the harmony cruz a bit more comfortable but her favourite was the clek olli. I was having a hard time finding anything for backless boosters available in Canada other than the olli/ozzi that is more than a piece of fabric sitting on top of plastic.
