The Diono is a great seat, but it's not the easiest to use and install. I have two and although I really love them rear facing, I hate them with a passion when forward facing. They can be really tricky to install with the seatbelt (can't get a tight install in my SO's Matrix) and the required harness pads become really stiff during winter. I also prefer a smooth harness adjuster. With the Radian you have to pull multiple times (tug-tug-tug) instead of once. The headwings always keep sliding down, no matter what. As you can see, it's love/hate!

I far prefer my Clek and Britax seats, but there are other good seats available, for less. If you tell us how long you plan on keeping your son rear facing, it will help us make better suggestions!
