I finished my tested install scenerios. Passed no prob!

Then onto the misuse skills eval---that was easy too!

Then the check---we saw 20 children, gave out 12 new seats.

There was a 22 or 23 month old came in in a HBB, shoulder strap behind him. So they put him in a combo seat FF.

I only did 2 cars. The first one, I did education with the g-ma and 16 yr old mom. Baby was at day care. We gave her a RF comfort sport.

Then the next truck that came in--Dodge Dakota. Mom, Daughter, 6 yr old son, and daughters 6 month old baby. 6 yr came in the front center with nothing---had a plastic booster, missing labels and cushion. Baby in older snugride, within the limits. SR was 22 days from expiration. Baby was sideways in the back...but not really on the seat.

We got the 6 yr old in a cosco HBB, one of the ones that is just a booster, but looks like the ones that are combos. Then we put baby in a RF Evenflo Titan...it was tight....but they definatly left safer than they came.

I PASSED!!!!

Yay! Congratulations! The 6 month old was sideways in the back? Hmmm... that's interesting. You're making me so excited to start my class on Monday! :)

yes, yesterday was a blast! The misuse test was kinda fun... at least when you know it's all play and actual kids aren't sitting in those seats.
We did the seat selection and harnessing test inside, then the actual installation test outside (day 3)
Had lots of fun at the seat check. People actually let me talk to them about seats, LOL. Talked someone who just moved her baby into her DS1's convertible and DS1 into a booster into going back and getting a harnessed seat. Told her to look for the high weight models and put lots of info on her sheet. She really seemed happy to know she had that option.
