Honda CRV opinions

Any issues I should know about these vehicles? I'm probably going to be trading in my 2007 Outback soon and I'm looking at a 2011-2013ish used CRV. I only have one child, and I doubt that will change in the foreseeable future. DS is currently RF in a Clek Foonf.

Are these decently reliable vehicles? There are a few in my area with less than 40k miles and less than $15,000, which is the price range I'm looking for. Any other vehicles that I should consider in that price range?

The center install can be tricky but will probably be ok in a rf foonf if you use seatbelt.

Be aware, once you ff, you won't be able to do LATCH plus belt center or on the side that shares with center (5 anchors) because it's offset. It would have to be outboard and on the 40 split side (ditto boosters with LATCH.)

Hmm so would I be able to install in FF in the center position with just the rigid latch? I haven't remotely looked at the latch limits or any of that on this vehicle yet.

Honda defers but the limits are low on Foonfs.

I don't know how rigid would do but I couldn't put a FF SureRide in center with lower anchors because the hump center plus the offset made it totally crooked.

Hmm okay. That's good to know. If I end up getting a CRV, I'll have to try out the center install. DS is almost 3 and only 25lbs, so I doubt he will make it to the 35lb rigid latch limit for a while.
