Need travel seat for 3yo with SN

Kiddo is 3, 30 pounds, 36" and has low trunk and neck tone. We held out RF as long as we could with his tone, but he is FF now. He doesn't tolerate being upright for very long, and does best at a bit of a recline. He currently rides in a Recaro ProSport and does very well but I am concerned that anything more upright will be out of the question.

I need a seat that will be lightweight and easy to install on the plane and in an unknown rental car. We have a very limited selection in stores locally and anything we get needs to be on Amazon. Target is sold out of Sure Rides right now, but I plan on picking one up as soon as they restock to try it out. I am worried that it will be too upright, so if there is anything else that would be a good candidate, I would love to hear it. For privacy reasons I can't post this on the FB page.

TY :)

The sureride is a good bet and was going to be my suggestion. There is always the my ride though that is a little heavier. You might want to recline the plane seat a little bit to install that then bring it back upright. The Graco size4me, mysize etc all have a decent recline forward facing but again are going to be even heavier than the myride. Will you have a mini van or other car with captains chairs when you get there? If so, if you have access To an immi or Safety 1st go, that and a CARES could be a solution. You could use the plane seat reclined, and the go allows reclining the vehicle seat up to 30 degrees from vertical. But I'm sure those probably aren't available options.

I was going to recommend the Cosco Apt50 because it seems to have a very similar recline to the MyRide, but with the width, I am not sure how it would install in a plane seat.

We will have a full size sedan as a rental, so room shouldn't be much of an issue, but we do have a ton of stuff to take with us. I hope the Sure Ride works--the lighter the better since we have his wheelchair and all of his equipment to haul through the airport.
