I just got a 2012 Yukon xl and need help finding a booster that works in the captains chair or in the 3 rd row. I ordered the affix so I could latch it, but there's a huge gap between it & the seat back. The headrest is fixed in the captains chairs. Thanks!

Anyone?!? I was looking at maybe the recaro performance booster? Looking through the manual online it doesn't seem to have to be flush with the seatback.

I have a 2008 Suburban and the Recaro Performance Sport is fantastic in both my Captain's chairs and back row. It is the combination harness to booster seat. We use it harnessed but have tried it as a booster in the Captain's chair and it was great.

The Clek Oobr works in any position with lower anchors regardless of fixed head restraints, because you can recline it and Clek allows use with only the top of the seat in contact (large gap permissible) as long as lower connectors are attached.

There may be others that allow small gaps. It's the only one I'm aware of that allows any size.

Thanks. I tried the affix in the third row with dd in it. There's a tiny gap, I'm wondering if it's acceptable?

I can't really tell from that pic. Check diagram 7 on page 25 of your manual. If it seems to exceed that, contact Graco to see what they say.

Thanks! After looking at the diagrams again it looks like it fits the same as what it shows. The small gap is the part that isn't flush with the rest of the seat & it doesn't touch on their diagrams either.

Hi, I have a Yukon with captains chairs and the Recaro performance booster fits nicely in the captains chairs and in the third row. When it's in the third row I had to follow the Yukon owners manual instructions and turn the headrest backwards in that seating position.
