KF30 harness question

I bought a trusted friend's KF30 for us to use for fostering. No accidents, trust the history, they bought new, only used for 1 year with their daughter.

I got it home today to clean it and apparently the harness got a slight bend/beginning of a twist near the buckle and they never fixed it.

So now there's a small place on both sides where the harness wants to fold over.

Any way to fix that? Lay heavy books on it?? :p Lay flat and see if it will flatten with time of no use??

We won't be needing it right away, so I can leave it alone for a bit, but didn't know if this would help.

My Keyfits did that as well. The harness is just a bit too wide for the slot in the buckle, so it folds. You could try putting books on top of it. Obviously no ironing or anything [emoji6]

Yeah, the Keyfit harness is slightly wider than the buckle tongs openings. Annoying in my book! I'd say you could try the book method but even if they flatten out they'll probably still go back once you put them back in. You could post a photo so we could see if it was something more than the usual. You could also order a new harness if you wanted to go that route.
