Possible to Remove Harness from a Graco Click Connect?

I've got my "crashed" seats from the parked car collision and I thought I would at least pillage what I can from them but I can't get the harness off the CC40. It's all one piece and it's getting caught by the adjuster button. Any thoughts if it's actually possible to remove it? One could cut it and put in a new one easily but it's just how the loop at the end is sewn that is getting caught to come out. There's nothing in the manual about this. Since the seat wasn't in use and my car was parked and hit by another parked motorcycle I'm ok with reusing the harness if needed.

Thanks for any help!

Aha. Maybe that's why I thought it wasn't since I couldn't find directions. (Well that and their trend toward the non-replaceable harness...) Did you end up calling Graco to ask?

They do but they don't respond to it! I initially wrote to Graco for clarification on if I needed to replace the seat and I never got a response so I did end up having to call. I didn't have the question about the harness at the time.
