Um... Symphony meets Dumbo? That headrest is just crazy!
It's not a bad seat, really, I love the integrated shoulder pads on the harness (finally! Those things have been irritating looking for years now), the whale-fluke shaped crotch pad, and the cover seems really nice. But I *assume* it still has a 37" RF height limit? And they didn't use the self-retracting LATCH, it's just the premium push ons that they've had at Walmart since the last product cycle (small, and a nice pull strap to get them off, probably great for deep anchors).
I wish I could see their 'rollover testing' in action, anyway, can anyone with good google-fu skills find info on that?

I saw that when I was over at BrUs that day. I like the straps to release the latch hooks. It's hard to get mine off even with premium latch. The description says something about the harness that helps head excursion. Does it have that same Evenflo self adjusting harness height system?

Yeah, it's the 'zipper'-like harness that just slides up and down when the harness is loose (with the metal flap at the front of the seat, not the side knobs like the Triumph has).

"Harness webbing and other safety features"
"Harness Protection System- Harness webbing helps limit head excursion and helps prevent ejection."

So they don't tell me what's actually different or special about their particular weave of harness webbing---is it stretchy, or thicker, or what....? I mean, obviously the harness webbing on ALL carseats (except Kiddy, lol) is what limits head excursion and prevents ejection.

I'll have to play with it and see if it's less twisty than their other seats, that would be nice, I'm all about untwisty straps :)

According to the Evenflo CEU I attended it will NOT have a 37" height limit.

Can't remember what is different about the webbing. Something about being grippy I think.

Yeah, when we met with them at ABC, we told them that it absolutely couldn't have such a ridiculously low RF height limit and they agreed. Then we were adamant about it, lol.

Well, good to know all that. I'll give the manual a once-over next time I get up there (hopefully today, my store is next to Kroger...)
It's just hard to get excited over the same seat shell with a few new bells and whistles (like, ooooh, foam headwings on a baseless AO...be still my beating heart...not ). But knowing the height limit might be better, well, that's giving me some hope. The headrest is truly enormous, it's got to be very containing for taller kids!

Well, being that it is my handsdown favorite seat currently on the market and the only real objection to it is the completely meaningless 37" height restriction (but hey, my 3.5yo nephew that rides in it is only 37" anyway), *I'M* excited, LOL.

SafeMax has a more reasonable 40" RF standing height limit. And a 10 year lifespan before expiration! :2thumbsup:

When I was on my UK carseat quest I noticed they also had many seats with the rollover test. This is a little bit about it with a video

Is it still the two lowest headrest positions required for RF? (I'm working tomorrow, I can read it then, but I thought I saw that on FB).
