Ethics in selling infant seat...

We are planning on selling our infant seat, the Snugli-branded Embrace 35.
I'm feeling slightly conflicted, as it was rated as "basic" by Consumer Reports because apparently it detached from the base in testing.
I know that these tests aren't the equivalent of CMVSS testing, and that there haven't been any recalls or notices about the seat. Would you disclose the CR testing results to the potential buyer? Is it unethical not to?

I honestly don't know how to interpret or use the CR data. It seems strange to me that the seat would detach from the base in their test, but not at other times. I kind of wonder if the seat wasn't properly installed for the test or something?

I think my instinct would be to just sell the seat as long as it isn't recalled. Make sure to tell the new owner to register the seat in case of recalls, though.

I sold an Evenflo Titan 65 recently even though I know that some people on here have had difficulty with the harness detaching from the splitter plate. No recalls, though, and my seat never had that problem so as far as I know that seat is still safe.
