Diono crutch buckle pad

So I was reading on a Facebook group that the Radian crutch buckle pad has to be use at all times??? It's the first time I read this, reread the manual and it least I didn't find that in there, it's that true?

Diono has a lot of rules that are not in the manual, or are unclear in the manual, so it wouldn't surprise me.

I'd email Alanna (Diono's rep.) She's very kind and will let you know the current requirements.

And some of the changes are retroactive, and some are not... It's hard to know what's what without calling them sometimes.
