I personally feel that the nextfit, with how it is designed, actually provides some rebound control. Mine goes halfway up the seatback and I couldn't get it to move towards the back of the car without a lot of effort. I know that changes in a crash but I have ours in the third row of my Mazda5 where the cargo space is the size of a purse and have no worries about the nextfit rebounding far enough to be an issue.

Good to know, I like the size of the Nextfit and that plan was to get the Nextfit for DD2 and use the Radian for DD 1 to keep her harness part time since they send it new headwings the issue of the falling headwings got corrected, but another plan was to use the Radian with DD 2 and get a Nautilus for DD1 which is the cheapest opción but I really wanted the Nextfit

I think the same as Dillipop. It why I feel ok using our My Ride. I think the design gives some rebound protection. It's just my theory of course.

Even the MyRide in Canada has bolsters added to meet Canada's rebound testing, so I'm not sure how much anti-rebound the US version has. We don't have the NextFit yet, so we don't know if they will have to change anything to meet our requirements.

For what it's worth, I'd chose a Nextfit over the Radian any day. I get such a secure install with the Nextfit that it doesn't even bother me that it doesn't have any sort of anti-rebound. It takes a lot of force for me to even lift the back of the seat up. Of course, it could behave much differently in a crash. That's just my .02 though.

I am able to get a really good install with the Radian, but I don't like how much upright it is with the AA or how much recline it has without it
