Question Ford edge 3 babies

I have a Ford edge sport 2010 and three children. 3 car seats were not working. So we got a backless booster. We have a centre console, so rear facing baby couldn't go in the middle. Currently booster is in the middle, rear facing peg prego and Sunshine kid car seat on the outsides.

Two problems. Sunshine kid car seat is hurting my 3.5 year olds crotch and the booster is too hard to buckle with the other car seats in the vehicles.

Looking to buy a convertible booster for my 3.5 year old. In order to buckle the backless booster I want it in the outside. So the convertible booster needs to be a low head rest or no head rest at all. It needs to sit under the vehicle head rest since I can't move it in Edge.

Please help.

How old are your children? Their height, weight, & shirt sizes are also helpful. Your Edge can have the headrests turned around backward, which makes it easier to install seats. You will need three narrow seats to fit in your vehicle, but you'll probably find that three harnessed seats will fit better than two harnessed seats and a booster since, as you've discovered, boosters become hard to buckle.

My children at 5.5 years, 3.5 years and 4 months. My oldest is 50 lbs, middle is 39 pounds and the 4 month old is 20 pounds. I don't know their exact height, but they are big for their age. My 5 year old is wear size 7 clothing and is the tallest in his class.

We were told the sport model middle head rest can't be taken off. Only the outside two.

I think you are correct about the center headrest. I had forgotten that it is a fixed position headrest. Why did you not want to put the infant in the center position? The manual doesn't prohibit a RF seat in that position, and a RF seat would negate the headrest problem. Also, what seats are you using other than the Radian?
