Hmm looks like we are getting the Canadian version of the convertible too... Amazon.com : RECARO Performance Racer Convertible Car Seat, Midnight : Baby

Leg room still looks smaller than I like. But a bit better.

I was at BRU a couple of weeks ago and they have them. At least, one on display, I didn't ask if they had it on stock yet.

A little off topic (so let me know if I should start a different thread) but why the interest? I ask because hubby is a carbuff and wants one because they make really good racing seats. However, I found a couple of reviews online that they didn't perform that well in crash tests (wish I'd bookmarked the articles)
