We are contemplating purchasing a 2015 Kia Sedona. I think I would like the 8 passenger version, but that means I need to leave one of the 2nd row seats free so that I can slide it forward for access to the 3rd row. I would like to have my two younger kids (I have 4 total and often an extra kid) in the 2nd row.
My question is - can I fit two car seats next to each other in the 2nd row (one of them in the middle)? I'm willing to get new car seats... the two kids that are in car seats are my 3 year old, who will be outgrowing his Coccoro soon anyway, and my 5 year old (who currently has a Graco Affix booster).
My older girls want to be together in the same row, and my 3 year old still needs to be within reach for me and needs help buckling... so the only other option I have is to put my 5 year old alone in the 3rd row and have the girls and the 3 year old in the 2nd row. But that seems sad for my 5 year old. Also, when the girls have friends with them, they will want to all be together.
So I'm really hoping I can make it work to get two car seats of some sort into the 2nd row with one of those being in the center, and then my older kids will be in the 3rd row and will have easy access to the back via the free side seat on the 2nd row.
Thanks in advance to anyone who has the answer to this one!!
