$10 Safety 1st Store n Go

I feel like I have to check in here every time I get a new seat, which has been quite a while, really.

This morning, DH left for work with Gage's Performance Booster in his car. We have a 35 min drive to therapy, and any store that might carry a booster :/, and I'm somehow without any extras. Thankfully, we had DD's ProSport, and our old TF. I let DD ride in the TF, and since he still fits in the harness, Gage rode in her PS without me having to convert it.

So, I went to Wally World after therapy to get a booster so we don't have to do this again. I really would have preferred a Harmony Youth Booster, but with the long buckle stalks in the Altima, it's really not the best fit, and that's where this seat will live after today. I had the Little Tykes (Diono) blow-molded backless in my hand as well, but it's made so much like the YB that I was afraid we'd have the same issue. It was down to a Turbo or an Amp. Then I saw a box with the Disney Cars Store n Go. I got it out and opened the drawer, and Gage announced that he wanted that one. After looking at it a minute, I saw that it was $10, and has a 10 year life. For that, if it sits in my house waiting for the emergency, it's worth it. Evie begged and pleaded for the Minnie Mouse one that was also $10, but I was afraid she would want to ride in it, and I'm just not ready to make that move yet. I probably should have bought it for the same reason as the other- emergencies. Oh well.

The high back or backless?

The Store N Go is really similar to the Boost Air and Pronto, which is great. They tend to work well.

Backless. DH got home and I tried him in the car. Belt fit looks great. Actually better on his shoulder than the YB because it does change the trajectory from the buckle to the retractor.
