I'm looking for a friend. She's due with a girl and doesn't want to use her surge keyfit and started looking at other seats (ie baby trend and evenflo embrace - and makes tiny babies)

Can't you buy a cover directly from Chicco? I'd imagine that's cheaper then buying a new seat?

You can but the website looks less than optimal for choices and availability. I told her to call or email Chicco and she just hasn't....

I see they have Foxy which looks cute and girlish (not that I know anything about girlish with 2 boys

! But the price

For that price she can pretty much buy a new Evenflo Embrace (which according to the Car seat blog fits small newborns fairly well).

I made the mistake of looking at ebay *shudder* don't let her look there, the aftermarket homemade covers that fit every infant car seat horrified me.
