Hi everyone! It's been SO LONG since I've been here
Happy to report that all of your previous advice has been great hence not needing you in so long!
So I have a VERY soon to turn 6 year old going into grade one - who is ready to booster! By ready - I mean ready, ready. We've booster trained him in his brother's old seat but he's ready to full time in his own now. We've had ZERO issues in booster training. Helps that his seat mate is an almost 12 year old that can model good sitting!
So we are STILL driving a Yukon XL 2002 without latch. Kiddo is in the 3rd row outboard. I'm not sure of his height but he's pretty average. He is skinny though at just 42 pounds.
I was waiting until he gained more weight BUT his seat broke - and we had to cut it up and send parts of it back to the manufacturer a few days ago. I suppose now is a good time to buy a booster!
So much has changed over the past few years that I don't have a CLUE what a "good" booster seat for a smaller kiddo is now though.
