I am expecting baby # 4 in april at that time I will have a almost 7yo (bday in june) almost 5 yo(bday in july) and a 2 1/2 yr old. I want to be able to put the 3 of them in the back seat and keep a captain seat available for my grandmother who we have with us alot. I am thinking the 2 oldest will both be in boosters by then. Right now I have a harmony dreamtime booster, a evenflo maestro and a saftey first alpha omega elite. I know I will need to be at least 1 new booster and wondering if I will need a different harness seat? Not wanting to spend more than $100 per seat, anyone able to make 3 fit in a town and country?

Congratulations on baby #4!

This is a tough problem. The T&C 3rd row is narrow, only has a tether anchor in the center, and has difficult belt geometry outboard, so that the belt doesn't slide well through the guide on many HBBs, and hangs out an inch or 3 in front of kids' chests in backless boosters.

Also, boosters generally don't help much in a tight 3 across, because it can be really hard to buckle them.

Does the 4 yo fit in the Maestro harness? Will s/he still after the baby arrives? Will there be any growing room?

Are you open to rear facing the 2.5 year old? Are you open to putting the baby in the 3rd row?

Yes the 4yo is in the maestro now and still has room, and i am fine with putting baby in back as long as 7yo is back there. So far I have had 1 person recommend 2 dreamtimes in the back along with a sureride, they said the sureride will set high enough the kids can get their hands under to buckle in,not sure if it will work?
