Hello! My DH it's considering getting a 2015 Equinox. Does anyone here have one?
Anything to know about them? Bad car seat installs, etc..

Thank you!

I realize that it may be completely different, but I have an 06 Equinox. I love that the rear bench seat slides back and forth, a full 11 inches! It makes plenty of room for large rear facing car seats! I've got a 60/40 split on the back seat too, and even though it has 3 full sets of LATCH, you can only use a max of two at once because the ones on the shared 60 portion of the seat over lap each other. I do have 3 seat belt installs across the back right now though! Which is awesome! It really helps to have a car seat with built in lock offs because the seat buckles sit forward of the bight and the side belts bolt into the floor. That makes for a tricky belt install with some seats (radian RF for example). Clearly I use the car as the bigger car for hauling children daily and big things that need moving. It works for now, I'd like to replace it in the next few years for something a little newer with an optional third row. As a secondary (husbands) car i think an Equinox would be a great choice as far as toting kids!
My 'Nox has 205,000 miles on it and is still running! There have been some minor issues, the sunroof leaks (pours) water now when it rains which was fixable the first time (the bolts were loose!) but now I've permanently sealed it shut because the seal has given out and can't be replaced separately. The A/c stops working after 2 hours on as cold as it can go...problematic only on a 5 hour summer road trip! I'm sure the 2006 is very very different from the 2015, but I'd hope this helps a little! I've been very happy with the car as far as car seat compatibility goes!!
Right now it has a Diono radian RF, Britax frontier 90 FF, and a Nuna Pipa infant seat in it. I've easily had a Britax boulevard and Evenflo symphony 65 in there at different times too. But they are too wide for 3 across. I have also slid the bench seat all the way forward and put a washing machine in the trunk! Very spacious!
Good luck!

Wow! Thank you. I'm going to go check one out soon.
This would be a second car for sure. Mostly for DH for work. Or when he "only" takes 3 or 4 kids.
I have a 12 passenger van for me that I drive daily.
