Question Good belt fit?

How does she look? She sits in a Harmony Cruz 99.9% of the time but I was curious about her belt fit. This is in a third row Ody.

At first I was like, where is the seat?
Oh, I see you are checking belt fit, lol.

My son (also born 2006, in July) is 57.5" and 74 lbs. He sits in the third row Odyssey outboard in a Cosco Topside. Fit on him is good with the booster. I know this booster makes lap belt a bit low on thighs. But it was the only one that fit in our 3 in a row. No room to even thread shoulder belt under, so this is the seat for us. (In the spare car he fits great in the Recaro Performance booster, as do all my older kids).

I can't rotate the pic so it's hard for me to get a good enough look.
I also never had one 5 step so it'd all be new to me.

I don't think her knees are bending at the right place yet but it's hard to see....she might get tired of that and start to slump....then you will have an issue with belt fit
As it stands the belt fit is good, but she needs that headrest up and maybe that would then result in her having to move back more?

She uses a booster, I was just curious if it's passable if for some reason we don't have a booster handy and she's with a friend. I won't let her sit like that regularly. She wasn't sitting in that spot with the headrest down either just in case anyone thought she was.

Agree that it wouldn't give me pause with the current fit, but based on that photo I have the same concerns about knees bending. It's hard to tell in photos though and it might be okay in person.

I just took my almost 57" 1/2006 dd in about 5 cars (my first seatless trip to grandma's in almost 18 years!), and she was fine in all of them
Think I'll still make her use her incognito for now, though.
So yeah, seems like if the seat cushion is pushing her calves forward, she might not be *quite* tall enough, maybe another centimeter of femur growth will do the trick.
