Clek fllo is very big in my suburban

I have a 2003 suburban and just got my daughter the Clek fllo. I have to have the passenger seat all the way forward for the seat to fit outboard rear facing. This is fine because usually no one sits there but on the weekends I sit there and I'll be sqwished!!
Can the car seat touch the front passenger seat and be okay or is it bad if they touch?

I have my 1 yr old in the middle and would like to keep her there since she is smaller.

I would either try to install more upright by adjusting the ARB and pressing down on the seat during installation (following the lines on the seat) or switch the two seats. The 1yo is still so safe RF that I wouldn't think twice.
