Best Price & Retailer for Pool Noodles

I take our seats out every few months to clean and I feel like I go through a lot of pool noodles! What's the best price and best place to get them? Right now Target has them for $4 each and that seems outrageously high. The dollar store is hit and miss with them.

I think I just saw some at Walmart for a dollar something. They were the smaller ones though, not the nice fat ones.

Our Target had both skinny and fat ones. I'm not sure how much they were. This is definitely the season to buy them!

Edited to add, duh, you said Target. Somehow I read it as something else.

I'd delay bulk purchase until the end of the season, when they go on clearance.

Or, I second the idea of just using a towel.

Dollar store.

But usually at the end of the season you can get them for like 75 cents at stores.. When I needed to have them on hand I would buy 6 at the end of the year and save them. But hit the dollar store!

The dollar tree ones seem skimpy compared to the target ones. If that makes a difference to you.

I get them at Dollar Tree because they are cheap and I'm giving them away, but if you need more bulk I agree, I'd roll a towel.

Sorry, but I'm curious why you go through so many? I've been reusing the same ones for several years. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to replace them?

The rolled up towel is too big (at least the beach towel I tried was, I didn't try more than one) so I went back to the noodle. I might experiment with different towels but for now the noodle is perfect so I'll keep shelling out the $2 for it. :D

teekadog - I find that the noodle gets compressed and doesn't come back to its original shape after it's been used for the install. Sometimes I can flip it over and use the other side but most of the time it's too compressed to get the right angle for the seat. Maybe this just happens because I use cheap noodles...? (or maybe I'm doing something wrong...?!)
