I have a 6 month old in a baby trend flex loc infant seat. In the past month, it seems every time I get him out of the car after going somewhere, his chest clip is on his belly. I know I put it in the right spot. I know he's not pulling it down. I know I have the straps at the right tightness. I don't know what to do.
I do remember on a road trip about a month ago, after we stopped for a break, I was putting him in the seat and it was already installed. He immediately tried sitting up. Could that be causing it? Could he be trying to sit and making it slip? I am planning on switching to a convertible car seat soon but I need this seat to be ok for another 2-3 weeks if possible until we can get the other.
